This week has been pretty good.  We have been trying to contact "T A" but he hasn't talked to us in a while so we are wondering whats going on.  We also went to see "L A", "K C", "J", "E", "N" and "I". They are very nice  people and they ask a lot of questions.  It's  great because  they are all very open to learning.

We just got a new mission president and he is really cool, he was also in motorcross.   He is changing somethings.  Like he tries to allow us to figure out for ourselves if something is good or bad.  But he asks if you could call him first of course. All of the rules are still in place still, but like for example; our investigator, "L" asked us if we could come to her rehab program, so we asked Pres. Miller if that was ok to do, and he said, "Well, I want to know what you think about it?  "And we said that, we thought that it would be good to support her.  So he said,  "yes and you could also get her into the church rehab program."  He is really supportive of everything.

Morgan's Baptism

Baptism is a very important part of obtaining the highest kingdom of glory.  You are a little princess and I know you can overcome any fear that crosses your path.

(can you also tell Chester this too) awesome I'm so proud that you got baptized. It is a wonderful experience.  I hope you can always cherish and remember this experience every time that you partake of the sacrament.

It is an oath and a covenant with your Heavenly Father, that you will continue to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.  A lot of people think, in other churches, that baptism is just there to help you be saved or become a member of the church.  But no, baptism is a loving plea to our Heavenly Father that we will do the right thing, and become better and progress in faith, because the rock of our redeemer, who is Christ our Savoir and our brother.  And now is the time to prepare to meet Christ.  When we are making covenants, we are showing God that we love him and that we want to follow him in his path to salvation.

So remember, baptism is more than church membership, it is a connectivity to our Father in Heaven, allowing us to receive the Holy Ghost as a companion of faith and a guardian of righteousness.  Reconcile your faith and all you know every Sunday, when you partake of the sacrament and when you bare your testimony.  Read the scriptures, pray and involve your spirit in the great spirits of others and you will feel the holy spirit grow and evolve deeply in your life.

I want to tell you that your heavenly father loves you and is happy that you took that step in your life to continue fulfilling the steps towards salvation.  I wish every one of my investigators this chance of great happiness and good fruit that you have partaken of, but due to free agency we have to let them grow and allow them to partake of the nutrients that us missionary's and church members have built up inside of ourselves.

I am grateful to have gone on this mission I am learning and progressing even more than I ever have.  Belen is a humble place I couldn’t ask for any place better.
Our progressing investigators right now are the Bland family, "S" with her 2 sons and then "K".  We have more but these are our solid investigators

We haven’t been able to meet with "S" for a great while but the other day she ran up to us and asked when are we gonna be baptized?  Unexpected.  ehy?
Then there is the "B" family who is very solid and the other day we were showing them that movie about Joseph Smith.   And the dad, "C" was so mad about how the mob treated the Mormons.  Tomorrow we will meet with him again.

Well we are also teaching "K" who is 11 and "K" who is 8, they are very into reading the book of Mormon and want to get baptized well their mom is does drugs, and she just dumps them at her friends grandma’s house who is a member of our ward the grandma is quadriplegic and the kids help her around the house and so their mom won’t let them get baptized.

Yeah, I love Elder Robison he is a great comp we will try to keep in touch when he goes home. Elder Robison is pushing me so when he leaves I can do all I can to work at top performance and I’m happy he is a good trainer.  And it has been great even through the rough times.

Today President W. Miller he left and tomorrow we get meet our new President S. Miller

Today is my P-day so I think I’ll try to see if I can get a picture of the movie set Transcendence with Johnny Depp.
